Happy holidays from The Flower Bungalow!

Happy holidays from The Flower Bungalow! I hope you are able to find a joy in the little moments.

Just a quick post to say, happy holidays from our family to yours! Whether you’re savoring the last few days or trying to hurry up and get the 2022 show on the road, I hope you’re able to find a spark of joy in the little moments. ✨

Personally, I’ve been soaking in the change of the seasons here at the bungalow. It’s so wild that our little slice of Phoenix experiences some colors changing and seasonal goodness to look forward to.

Like our amazing myrtle berry tree exploding with berries in mid-October, enough to create a large-scale botanic hanging for a dinner party. Or the fact that we *get to* (me trying to convince me it’s not a lot of work) go on a pecan hunt during the winter.

Closing 2021 with a grateful heart

As the citrus ripens and our pecan tree drops its leaves, and the pomegranate shrub puts on a show of colors as its seasonal lifecycle ends, it’s a reminder that this chapter is closing.

We have even experienced a bit of morning frost lately, the closest thing to a white Christmas we’ll get here. I love reflecting at the end of the year, it’s so easy to get lost in the shuffle of day-to-day life.

I decided to take the last couple of weeks off of work to enjoy being with the kiddos and soaking in the last moments of the year. And I’m so glad I did. I am so blessed to even have that opportunity.

Looking ahead to 2022

Looking ahead to 2022 gets me really excited. I am looking forward to forging new connections and opportunities and shaping the bungalow brand even more. I am so so so excited to get our new gardening spaces off the ground. Who knows what the future holds?!

I can only hope it holds more creativity, more growth and more magic. Until then, enjoy some holiday scenes from around the bungalow!

It’s true, I love using a repurposed glass bottle for many occasions. For some reason though, Topo Chico bottles make the
