Self-care has never been more important, so I’m sharing three of my favorite local beauty brands whose products are made right here in the Valley.
According to Local First AZ, for every $100 spent in our local economy, $43 dollars stays within the economy. When you spend non-locally, only $13 remains in our local economy. That’s huge.
With the pandemic threatening small businesses, it’s more important than ever to show our support. Whether it’s a social media share or making a purchase, every little bit counts. So I thought I’d introduce you to some small-batch beauty products that I adore.
Local beauty products made with love right here in Arizona
Is it just me, or is there something magical about locally made products in Phoenix? I swear it’s the sunsets and desert dust!
I don’t know why, but I’ve been out of these products for a really long time. This pandemic has me being a total bum… but no more! By purchasing these beauty products, I’m supporting local businesses while improving my self-care routine. Sounds like a dose of happiness I need in my life lately.
1. Vibe Botanics
I first learned of Vibe Botanics when they had a little storefront in Old Town, and I would walk over when we first moved into our Old Town Scottsdale home. I went in to try a few things and really loved smelling everything. Sadly, the shop is gone, but I’m so glad that you can still shop this amazing small business online.
As an all-natural brand, Vibe Botanics believes “Mother Natures knows best,” and you can tell they mean it. Their products are organic and made with clean ingredients and smell so, so, soooo good. They are the best quality too – and I love the samples the owner usually tucks into the shipments. It’s one of my top go-to local business when I need to buy a gift for someone, or when I need to restock my own supply.
Plus, they commit to planting a seed, flower or tree for every product they sell. I love that. You can’t go wrong with anything you get from them, and I hope to try more. But here are my go-to favorite products:
Sandalwood Moisture mask
Literally the best moisture product I’ve ever used on my face. A little goes a long way and it feels and smells so good.
ROSEGLOW + rosehip set
This set is an amazing intro to Vibe’s products. I’ve tried a handful of rose-scented products and hands down, these are the best!
Flower power facial roller
This blend of botanicals packs a punch. I had never used blue tansy oil before, and it’s one of my favorites now! It soothes my skin yet awakens it at the same time.

2. Ilsa Fragrances
Ilsa Fragrances is perfume with a purpose. This wonderful lady-owned business centers on women empowerment and encouraging its perfume wearers to follow their dreams. Fragrances that have a little sweetness, a little spice, and a little earthiness to them are what I tend to gravitate towards.
If you’re looking for some inspiring content, be sure to give them a follow! I had the opportunity to attend the launch event for Infinite No. 2, and I was totally in love with the scent. It’s time to restock so I’ll be putting my order in!
INFINITE No. 2
I couldn’t think of a great way to describe this amazing scent over the internet, the online description says it all: “Sweet Bergamot. Pink Grapefruit. Sheer Mandarin. Liquid Amber. Dried Tea Leaves. Soft Suede.“

3. AZ Lavender Co.
I’d like to insert some clever line about beauty sleep here, but let’s be honest. I don’t know what that means anymore. Nonetheless, allow me to introduce you to AZ Lavender Co. Just like rose-scented products, I’ve tried a ton of lavender scents and the quality can vary greatly. Our family is obsessed with their lavender chamomile spray.
When I say obsessed, I mean spraying it has become a part of our bedtime routine. We keep a bottle in each of the kid’s rooms and one on each side of our bed. I’ve convinced Clara that spraying it protects her from scary monsters at night. (Before you judge me, the monsters are usually her idea.)
Typically, I snag my refills at the Old Town Farmers Market, but it’s closed until October. I’m glad I can order online in the meantime!
Pillow talk home and body spray
The best combination of Arizona-grown lavender and chamomile. Helps soothe our entire family to sleep.

There you have it…. three ways I’m supporting local while improving my self-care routine this week!
Any other local beauty brands I should know about?
Again, it’s beyond important that we continue to spend money when we can within the local economy. When you purchase from a small business, you’re supporting someone’s dream and getting some quality products in return. Plus, dollars spent locally go a much longer way.
Let me know if you try any of these products I’ve listed, would love to know what you think! As always, free to pass along any more local beauty brands! I’m always on the lookout for the good stuff and am happy to support small businesses along the way!
