The Culinary Arts

The smell of fresh chopped garlic, homegrown herbs, freshly-picked citrus fill the air. So many colors, textures, tastes and smells to delight the senses. 

Spending time in the kitchen has always been a grounding experience for me. I love the experience of creating with food, especially when it’s for others. It’s an expression of love that makes life more rich. 

 

I believe that a recipe is a mere suggestion. I love to cook intuitively, using seasonal ingredients. 

I believe that any good meal starts with a pad of butter. I grew up on southern food, so I tend to lean towards comfort food but also love a fresh veggie dish or salad.
